I've seen an American Comp Lite frame that looks to be in very good condition and am considering trying to get it from the owner. It's a brownish anodised colour with the uncoloured bare welds (for some reason anodising never takes to welds), shortish 1" head tube, original decals, looks nice and tidy. I have an M900 groupset and a fluoro yellow/green Accu-Trax begging to be put on the frame.

My question is:

How high would a tidy Comp Lite with M900 be on your list of 'Bikes to Get before I die'?

I am equivocal. I have always liked the bikes, especially the beautiful welds, but still they always stay fairly low on the must have. If I could pick one up easy and cheap, I would though
