I bought an American classic wheel set. The All mountain version. Wheels come 12x142 rear and 15mm front. The rear axle measures 142mm fits into the back end. The problem is the rim and rotor are pushed to far to the left. I took apart the hub to see if maybe the spacing was wrong. I couldn't figure it out.

Sounds like a dishing error. What bike are you using it on btw?

Yoeleo carbon 29er frame. I thought it was a dishing problem also but the rotor is off to the left to the point it would hit the post mount.

Are the end caps on the wrong ends?

first I've heard of that china carbon company. if the end caps on the hubs are installed correctly, can't rule out the frame being out of spec.

I have Nextie rims...they're not perfect

Try the wheel on another bike. A shop will have some.

American Classic has been a legit and reputable US company for quite a while, at least on the road bike side of things. IDK what their current status is.

Out of business since December 2017, their wide lightning mtb wheels where really nice when they came out.

Have you tried fitting another wheel on the same frame? Or fitting the wheel on a different frame? That will tell you if the problem is the hub or the frame.

Is the frame designed for a boost 148mm hub?
