Went for a ride for the first time on my new American Classic wheels on my 293, Saturday. 3.5 miles into the ride the rear wheel came out of the drops, in the process bending the wheel, disc, derailer hanger and derailer, plus breaking some metal off the axle. I trued the wheel back pretty straight. On inspecting everything back at the house, I noticed that the American Classic skew is differant than the stock one. The part that you tighten up with your fingers is a smaller diameter than the Bontrager one, and had been pulled through the rear drop out on the cassette side. Going to talk to the bikeshop about it tomorrow and call Amercan Classic. Has anyone else had this problem. I don't know if they (American Classic) sent the wrong skews or the problem is something else. Thanks
