well i after doign extensive research and shopping for prices i have narrowed my choices for brakes. it is between hayes hfx mags 8inch rotors and avid bb7 with 203mm rotors.
currently im running hayes hfx-9 hds and i totally dislike them. there bad for the long runs that i do and loose power often. i think the front caliper might have a leak and the adjuster rod is stripped beyond belief and i tried to super glue a wrench in there to twist it but that didnt work. i just dont think there worth puttign money into to get fixed. i wanted to get bb7's becuase i woldnt have to wrry about bleeding or anything just a simple adjustment here and there. i have used mags before and they are incredible, so much power. i do alot of downhill runs, and freeriding. i try to ride every week and if i can hit some freeride stuff after school everyday also.
i personally am leaning towards the mags, what do you all think?
and is 130 per brake the cheapest for mags?
