They've got quite a few of them and they are selling for really cheap. It says it's a different battery, but I'm sure it won't be nearly as nice as either of the geoman offerings.

Should I buy it, or wait for the new battery option from geoman?

Unless you have a fireproof place to charge it, or just plain don't care, I'd wait until the whole thing sorts out. The last place I'd go if I were worried about the quality is an eBay seller.

You will get whatever is worthed for your money. Pay more, get better. that simple.
I am not trying to sell you a light here. But I have noticed how many people falls into something thats not even worthed, if any. I mean, some poeple just likes to fool people who are new or has not much knowledge of such things.
I have been in lighting industry last 9 years, specially with LEDs. I am manufacture, Importer and distributor of many types of lightings.
I am not against any, not even MagicShine. They have techs and know how to make it right. But they are into saving money than quality... Specially after they think they got the market on their hands. I dealt with them as geoman did. But its hard to convince someone who thinks on money than quality.

Since this is an auction, I don't think the price will stay at $30 for long. I see no problem in buying the product per say but if the price goes over $50 I would forget about it.

I bought two off of ebay with the "new and improved" batteries. They seem fine. I made a ceramic box that I charge them in and unplug them as soon as they are finished charging. they are doing fine. I just can't swing a light for 3-4x the price right now. And if these work out I can't imagine paying for a "good" light. Now if my house burns down...

And I've been doing business here in US last 30+ years with my non-native american english and had no problems to communicate.
I am well accepted in Church, social groups, with our co-workers,( I don't call them employees because we are all in same boat),

I sincerely appreciate all of you who understood and gave me the support that I need here.
