with a 29" XT M785 wheelset...sure seems like there recently was a thread somewhere here re horror stories on these...very low mileage hub failures? I did try the search ditty and came up with nothing.

Amazon has them for $530 and they are CenterLock, which is what I would prefer as my CL XT IceTech rotors are all but brand new. The bike currently has the OE Alex rims, and I want to run tubeless with either NANO or NineLine TCS tires.

I considered the Stan's ditty, but it appears that I would need to buy six bolt rotors (which is not a deal breaker) and it certainly is no secret that Stan's rims and WTB tires are not soup-n-sandwich :nono:

The hub issue appears to have been fixed in the M785 hubs (the M775 previous versions were the main culprits). And they are UST spec rims for easy tubeless with TCS tires (though narrow for my taste). Chain Reaction has them for $417 with free shipping

If you're worried about the hubs though, look at the heavier but more durable SLX MT66 wheels.
