In an earlier interview with him I heard him say there was nothing to keep them from breaking the speed of sound. It's scary how little grasp of reality some of these guys, that are operating on it's edge, have.
Gravel grinding on my fatbike I do pretty well in races, as long as I can draft some. Pavement is the other huge drag. Rolling resistance isn’t bad as long as it’s actual gravel type surface, but pavement is like riding with the brakes on comparatively. These are not huge knobby “fat” tires either.
