I am not a roadie either....I designed the drive train and partsfor this from the ground up. I started with a bare frame. Not even a headset or seat post.

I'm not sure you could call that a road bike. More like a mountain bike with drops. That is a pretty cool setup.

Thought about them. I did 4 years of measuring with what I wanted for this bike build. 3 different bike shops including opinion from Gary Fisher himself. Dude has been great to talk to here and there when he wants to make time. Trent one his former designers has also helped.
