AllRide?

I'm working in Santa Cruz this week, and although had some time for some biking at Nisine last night, and I'm hoping for more riding, it looks like it's going to be raining here.

Anyway, at my hotel, there are a few interesting vehicles out front. A Specialized van, a truck with Cliff Shot logos all over, and lots of bike racks.

Upon further investigation, it may appear that Kirt Voreis might be staying here for some Cliff commercial shoot or something. Now if only our paths could meet, just so I could say "Hi" that would be cool!

Welcome... obviously you picked the right hotel. Now see if they'll let you tag along to see some of our beautiful scenery.
It's going to be wet for a while so the trails will be very sloppy. I'd give you a tour but I just got over walking pnuemonia and am real slow so I'm going to let the trails drain and do some road pedaling. Enjoy your time here
Kirt and his wife Lindsey are both really down to earth and friendly. Say hi if you see them for sure. I would put Kirt in the top 5 funniest people I have ever met.

Never tag along on a photo shoot though, probably one of the most boring things you could do with almost zero riding.
I guess I missed them :( I've been working in Santa Cruz... not as much playing as I'd like. The Specialized van is gone, as well as the "Cliff Shots" truck, so I'm guessing they packed up and headed back to Oregon.

Would have been awesome to meet them though... and I needed some Cliff Shots last night before my (very short) ride!

scheckler: One of these days I'd love for someone to show me the sweeter trails; I've hit the wrong trail at Wilder Ranch in the past (fire road), and have only touched some of the singletrack at Nisine. I need to get back in shape as well, lots of work has prevented me from riding as much, although I'm working on riding more now. Just put together a new-to-me '04 Bullit, and looking forward to riding it. A lot!
