Just saw that Payson McElveen joined Allied Cycle Works of Bentonville, AR. If you don't know, Allied is one of the few carbon road and gravel bike manufacture's actually producing frames in the USA (Appleman being another). They are stupid expensive with the Able Allroad frameset coming in at $4000 (although that seems to be the going rate for many titanium Made in USA frames.)
Payson is a Marathon/Gravel racer with a Redbull Helmet, his own Redbull podcast, and a decent resume of wins and records over the last couple of years.
What's interesting is that Payson indicated he'd continue MTB racing...but Allied doesn't have an MTB. Does that mean there is a chance we'll see a new Made In USA carbon MTB?
