Every once in a while I get the itch to ride Allatoona Creek.
Its not a gigantic system (12-14mi total)
Its not a particularly challenging trail (outside of the expert run and elevated skinnies)
Its not a particularly scenic or beautiful destination.
It also really doesn't offer up anything unique or 'must-see/do'.
However, I always seem to have a great ride on every visit.
Yesterday was a perfect set of conditions and I had my fastest, flowiest ride in awhile. Things just 'clicked'.
If you live in the greater Atlanta area, don't overlook a visit to the 'Toona. This 'little' trail may just put a big smile on your face!
