First off, be aware that not all all-inclusives are equal. Many hotels offer all-inclusive packages as well as european plan (non inclusive). If you do not want to be bothered with being nickel and dimed for gratuities, activities or food/beverage not included in the AI plan, etc, avoid these resorts.
Stick to the big players that are true all inclusives. These vary in quality like car models vary. Some AI's are cavaliers, others are mercedes.
Big name players: SuperClubs, Sandals, Couples, Beaches, RIU, Palace & Barcelo Bavaro.
USVI do not have any "true AI hotels". They have resorts with optional plans.
10 years as a Travel Agency owner and been traveling to AI's all over the Caribbean since 1994.
