For all you hard core winter riders: Alaska Ultra Sport's Iditarod Trail Invitational will begin on February 25th at Knik Lake, Alaska. The race is a 350 mile race to McGrath, Alaska with some racers continuing on another 750 miles to Nome. The race follows the Iditarod Trail just like the sled dog race. This route is completely off the road system and support is minimal. If you have the winter experience to be self sufficient in the Arctic Wilderness we have a few spots left at the starting line. You can check it out at www.alaskaultrasport.com or contact me [email protected] for more info.
