I'm looking at making the move to a 29er and in the course of my looking I was eyeing a B-29.
This takes me to what appears to be the Euro Airborne site http://www.airbornecycles.com/airborne_ec/janette/home.asp
And this says Airborne and the the B-29 are no more in N America
http://www.airborne.net/eready/janette/home.asp

OK I realize it seems clear cut but I'm confused (and a littel slow). Am I just SOL on on dealers/warranty in N America for a B-29?

If that is indeed the case I could use some suggestions.
I started looking at the Dos Niners but it appears it'll b sometime in spring before the 06s becoem avail.
The Moots is cost prohibitive which is why I was eyeing the B-29 being Ti seemed as close as I could get to a softtail an dalong the way I've decided Ti is the way to go for me. The intent is loooooong rides. Help.
Information overload. Must go ride and clear head.

Airborne became rebranded as FLYTE in the USA - they kept the Airborne name overseas.

all their model names changed. I don't know if there is a "NEW" b-29 version offered by flyte with just a new name.
they do have a new cheap alum. 29er frame.
http://www.flyte1.com/soar/janette/store/celsius9.asp
its 399$ for the frame

Yuri - Dos Niner, or a good steel frame - you will love them. You are more than welcome to ride my rig sometime, just let me know. Then of course my Wily when it arrives.

I also think the new steel Niner would be a great option.

I personally dont see the extra expense of ti worth the benefits, other than the bling factor. Not to say a Moots YBB 29er would not be under my legs if someone offered it to me.

Now if I could get a 29er AC/DC style frame with steel that would be hot. I love how steel with carbon rides.

Yea, I'm starting to lean towards steel cuz it's real yo. but seriously the new s.i.r is looking better and better.
but knowing myself like i pretend to, it'll be a last second impulse purchase with an ounce of peer pressure like 40ozs on the canal.
I started thinking soft tail 29er for epics (AZT) but i'm thinking a hardtail 29er will still be much better than the explosif.
we'll see...
