I always read bad things about Airbomb, but they have a part I'm having trouble finding elsewhere.

I need chainring bolts for a saint m800 crankset.

I ordered some odd parts from them a couple of months ago (solid axle and nuts). They're pretty slow (took 3-4 weeks), and don't give you any updates or tracking info, like the better online retailers. They're also the exact same firm as Beyond Bikes (I made an order with them, too, at about the same time; the packages came from the same address). I'm not really sure what's up with that, to be honest. They have a huge catalogue of odds and ends, so that's a plus. But I think that really, all they are is a guy in a basement who takes part orders, and then turns around and orders stuff from QBP. The packaging that you get is clearly not from airbomb, but another wholesale outfit. I don't think that they actually have much stock of their own, and that's why the orders take so long. If you're not in a hurry, I guess they're ok. You might try bikeparts.com; they have a lot of odds and ends, too. They're a little better, imo, although the pricing may be better with airbomb.

they drove me nuts

...or in my case it was just a short walk...

Ordered a seatpost that they said was in stock...waited 10days, no status update on their site...called them...told me it was out of stock...."well why did your site say it was in?"..."uhhh, you must have ordered it just as someone else ordered the last one"....when were you going to tell me it wasn't coming????....no answer...cancelled order

Too bad, it was a good price, but I guess when you actually don't intend to sell one you could put any lowball price you want and then just hope for orders and maybe sell something else that you can make a buck on when the customer finally calls, or something like that....I guess....

In any case, I wouldn't do business with them unless as a last resort.
