So, Im off two weeks in July. One of the weeks will be spent in upstate NY cruising the lakes and drinking beer I suspect. The week of the 10nth thru the 15th is open for some kind of road trip or two. Any suggestions? Somewhere a little cooler perhaps? Im already thinking Brianhead or maybe Mammoth(not sure if the snow is gone yet). Anyone off that week?

would a day trip on the weekend be OK? Leave early birdy AM and do an all afternnon ride?

Ok. Here's what you do. Head up to Ely monday... hit a ride with me that evening and another the next morning.... then head over to Park City and ride for a day or two, then work your way south to Thunder Mountain/Bryce Canyon area moving on to Navajo Lake/Virgin River Rim trail and Brianhead by Friday and Saturday. Maybe a few of us work bound souls could meet you in Brianhead Saturday for a couple of shuttles.:thumbsup:

That's a lot of driving and a lot of gas..... but hey.... that's a whole bunch of incredible and unforgetable riding in 6 days.

Well, that weekend is the Bartha rideso that might be tough. Mammoth isnt out of the question but i figure its probably a four hour ride from here(never been there) Can you get a that Friday off?

How far is Park City from Ely?

About 4 hours. So you got 3.5 hours to Ely, then another 4 to PC, then another 3-4 down to thunder mountain/bryce area, then an hour or two over to Brian head..... and, of course, don't forget the three hours home from Brianhead.
