Got out for a late afternoon spin today - the weather was beautiful.

how much snow do you got on your side of the state? i live about halfway between pittsbugh and the laurel highlands and we got too much snow here to really be able to ride in. i tried to ride yesterday but only got about a half mile. after viewing your posts i'm gonna have to ride tomorrow, i guess i'll just stick to the roads.

Where did you try riding? I noticed that there was less snow the closer you get to Pittsburgh. Was planning to try Boyce or Frick Park this weekend.

i just rode around my block and did a small section of a rails to trails path, then tried to ride up a small hill in the woods. it didnt go well. the rail trail wasnt too bad but anything offroad was darn near impossible.

frick might not be too bad because it gets a lot of traffic, i would imagine boyce would be hard going.
