Omfg!

That is absolutely frightening to walk along with that guy. It is doubly amazing that this "trail" is even open to the public.

Is it in the US? Must be in a country where people have to be accountable for their own behavior.

It almost looks like an aqueduct from the machinery about halfway through, but I don't see any ducts.

So, final question - what is it and where is it?:eekster:

Beat you to it

I am washing my shorts right now - that's insane.

It makes sense, too; I lived in Spain for a year and now that I know where it is, it is not a surprise.

I traveled on some mountain roads high in the Pyrenees that were only one lane/car wide with no guardrails. If we met up with someone coming from the opposite direction, we would negotiate to see who would back up to the most recent turnout. That was really scary. :

I have no problem with putting an aircraft in a spin and recovering from that, I do it as part of my job and it's fun to get tossed and turned thousands of feet up.

I have a big problem with that video where the trail had fallen away and there was only the outside metal-beam/structure left. Also the holes in the walkway. Holy crap.

You got it

As they say in Spain when I used to ask dumb questions like, "what about that missing piece of walkway?" - "es Espana."

It is quite a mad are indeed. I went there last October and there is some really good riding to be had, though probably too many miles climbing :D

Have a look at the attached link - fourth line down, fourth picture in is my lovely RFX and me wearing mandatory Turner / MTBR top!!

It's the Caminito del Rey trail in Spain. Caminito means crap and Rey means pants. So, it literally translates to "a crap of the pants". ;)

It's not open anymore, but Estupido Americanos sneak in to hike it.

Back in it's heyday...

C'mon, even Estupido Americanos wont fall for that. Back in 1905 noone would name it that. it means Kings Pathway. been there and would not even try although i did look up with binoculars and there were 3 people up there
