Hi all,

Has anyone tried an air shock on the AFR?

Has anyone tried a shorter shock on the AFR i.e. 200x57?

Just interested as was thinking i may get an air shock for trail riding just to knock the weight down to 34lbs, would be interested if anyone has tried this.

Wondered if it'd be worth trying a shorter air shock and what the results would be like.

I've just stuck some float 36 180s on the front to drop the weight and also fancy some carbon bars to replace the heavy raceface ones.

Cheers

Derek

Hi derekr,

Yep had a DHX Air on the back since new, so around 10months on it now. Its 222x64 run it 3rd hole down and it's great around british trail centres, great climber and nice & easy around the tight stuff. Fair's alright downhill, but a stoy will hopefully be making its way soonish... Hope that kinda helps.

some other options for air shocks would be a Monarch Plus directly from PUSH, or the new BOS Stoy Air that is supposedly going to be released in the next couple months
