Frame builder says the geometry is designed around an 80 mm travel fork. Looking at buying a lightly used 100 mm travel fork. Advised that there are spacers that can be changed to reduce the travel. My question is that even if we reduce the travel the overall length of the fork is the same, is it not? Which would result it the front end being 20 mm higher that it is designed to be. Or does the spacer installation not allow it to extend the full 100 mm?
