Adjusting Grip2 clickers, Comp/Reb both

620 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  cityjackit
Afternoon,
As I was reading about Grip2 and others' setups here, I saw someone say they couldn't hear the clicks on I think it was HSC. I have the same thing on mine. You really have to put your head down and feel the detents. But then the more interesting part. They were talking about NOT holding the one adjuster while adjusting the other.
I know on my Grip2, you cannot adjust hsc without lsc moving also. Is that normal? Either way? What about rebound? Should I adjust one clicker before the other? I mean I usually set the low speed first, then the high speed based on feeling from the trail.

Thanks

People can't hear or feel the clicks with the LSC, or the black dial. Both of my forks are like that.

When you turn the blue dial (HSC) and the black dial (LSC) moves with it, that is normal. Internally, the LSC isn't changing as you're turning the blue dial. I'm never looking at my rebound dials, but I'm assuming the LSR will move as you turn the HSR.

Whether it's compression or rebound, you don't have to move one clicker before the other. Even though one dial moves with the other, internally they're separate.

The LSC clicks are in 90° increments so just pick a point on the HSC dial to index off of.

Thanks guys. I appreciate that. Its strange that the LSC dial moves when you adjust HSC but internally, the LSC isn't changing.

Thank you again. Thats exactly the help I was looking for.

Have a good safe new year tonight.
