Well I wouldn't be surprised if this question has been answered before, and I probably didn't use the right terms in the search function, but nothing of value came up.
I am having trouble setting up my cantilever brakes. My Zinn book is missing, and I followed the process from the Park website, but I am still getting too much mechanical advantage. (I think that is the correct term; brake lever goes to the bar before coming to a stop)
Could somebody explain the best way to set up the canti's. What I am looking for is things like, start with the barrel adjuster at least half way out, followed by ....
Also, since I have too much mechanical advantage, should I try moving the pad in towards the arms or toward the rims?
My system has a link-unit wire if that matters.
