Take action to increase opportunities for Bicycling at Briones Regional Park.

EBRPD staff is now evaluating a proposal to allow bicycles on a narrow trail (that is currently only open to hikers and horses) located adjacent to the Alhambra Creek Staging Area entry road in Briones Regional Park.

Staff seeks your feedback on this proposal and will accept written comments through January 9, 2009. Background documents are posted on the Park District's web site, as described at http://btceb.org/pdf/Public_Comment_Meeting_Notice.pdf.

Please write to:

For help with your letter or to send an email using our easy form, click here: http://www.btceb.org/openaccess

Also, if you're a Sierra Club member, be sure to add this line:
"The statements made by individuals claiming to be Bay Area Sierra Club leadership DO NOT reflect my opinions as a Sierra Club member."

Thanks,
Dan

E-mail sent, thanks for (once again) doing the legwork. Dan, you put a lot of work into helping us get access to the parks and it is appreciated.

Thankfully, Brent and others take care of legwork as well. Without your voice, all of our work is useless. Thanks for sending in your opinions!
