A6N Tubing. Info needed.

I have been offered a frame made from A6N alloy tubing. Very little online info about it. Seems British builders are using it a fair bit. Some claim its as light as Columbus Starship.

Anyone here know anything about it.

I can find reference to it on Vernon Barker's site and Premier Cycles.
Other than that, nothing.

I found those as well. Pearsons are using it too.
I reckon its some generic tubing branded a6n.Might be ok and the frame is dirt cheap and perfect size.
Might ring around the places mentioned tomorrow and see what they say about it.

Thanks for reply.
Novara, (REI's house brand of bikes) uses it on some higher-end models. Seems like decent enough stuff. I'll post back if I can find more info.
Apparently its 6000 series butted aluminium. No great shakes-ok cheap tubing.
Thanks for replies.
