Hello guys. I just bought a used bike and i noitced this scratch at the back left. It is quite small but might be quite terrifying as well. Is this something i should worry about or no?

Need better pics but that does look worrisome, especially where it’s located

Dry your bike and take a better photo.

Doesn't look like anything concerning to me.

Personally I wouldn’t worry about that.
I would cover it up so I didn’t have to look at it, tho.

A Sharpe fixes that.

Thats abrasion damage to the pain/resin layer. It is superficial and is not going to affect performance. Get some frame protection tape over the frame.

Yup, from what it looks like, it doesn't seem like it went into the fibers. Mostly paint chips/abrasions. Looks like there's more that was already covered up with touch up paint. But I think you'll be ok.
Just a scratch. You're good. I'd put some frame protection on there. Easy to do yourself, just takes a little time and patience.
A post like this reminds me of why I am installing tailored RideWrap protection on a newly purchased 2022 Stumpjumper.
do a tap test....with metal screwdriver barrel or whatever...lightly

tap around the stay
if the crack paint area sounds deader than the rest ....bad mojo

I usually have that kind of damage on my bike in the first week of ownership :ROFLMAO:

Hence my penchant for metal frames.

Meh, I have watched one carbon bike tumble a pretty long distance in Sedona and only show scratches (I bought that bike new in 2018, still my current trail bike). Another carbon bike was hit by a car (with me on it), I continued to race that bike for a year or two before it was stolen.

I have broken more metal frames than carbon so far.
Yeah, so have I. Can't deny it.
But then I've never owned a carbon frame. :)
