I dug this up the other day, it's the original sketch of the Mantis Elevated X frame hand drawn by RC himself. He gave it to me when we met up back in 2003 or something.

Just thought I'd share.

Wow.. it's very exact. I think my 'x tubes' extended behind the st and terminated in the binder bolt, but other than that..

Too bad that was in the weight weenie era.. a larger st and a gusset at the st/stay area would have rocked.. something like what Vulture is doing now.

When RC was at the shop a couple of years back, he was signing a t-shirt and doing a drawing of the x-frame and had to look at the bike mid-drawing to make sure he got it right!
