..is going kayaking for the 1st time at 43 yrs old--and off Kailua Beach on Oahu-in a squall-on the 1st of January--and a good potluck w/ family and friends...

..and planning on hitting Pupukea tomorrow for a ride

...and getting ready to move back to the mainland where the buff singletrak is much more prolific.

my new year's day involved waking up in my car freezing my ass off, with a parking ticket on the windshield, a Jumbo Jack wrapper on my lap and an opened box of "vanilla-scented" suppositories on the passenger seat. WtF?

Things are looking up in '06.
