A good, budget friendly, light to fit a Kali Maya 2.0 with 1.0 visor

Love my Kali Maya 2.0 helmet. Kali said if I change the visor to a 1.0 and use the mount kit it should work fine for a light. Now just need a good, budget friendly light that will fit the system. Thanks

I have a Maya with the accessory visor. I have a Niterider Swift mounted to it. It works, but not 100% ideal. The light is really hard to get onto the Kali faux-handlebar mount, but it does go on. I just slide the whole mount on and off the visor when I'm not using it, rather than trying to get the light off of the mount. It is nice and stable, but kinda weighs down the front of the helmet a little bit - so you do want the lightest little light you can get that is still bright enough.

The Kali visor accessory pack shows up with no instructions whatsoever. There are a few different mounts in there, but with no explanation for what any of them are supposed to fit. So I just grabbed the NR Swift, since it was tiny and fairly bright, and I knew it would fit on that one mount. Somebody else might have a better suggestion for what other kind of light will fit on the random assortment of mounts you'll get. But if not, the Swift will do the trick.

Am I correct in assuming the visor your talking about is the one with a molded in Gopro mount? If that's the case there are quite a few lights that include an adapter or have an accessory adapter allowing them to fit that mount + the vent placement on your Maya looks like it would also accomadate most strap on helmet mounts and not require a new visor. So if you could place a value on your definition of "budget friendly" it would be a good start helping narrow down your better options. Usage information (solo helmet light or paired with what bar light, self-contained only or separate lighthead/battery OK, road/path/easy trail/downhill, beam prefeerence - spot/flood, trail type/description, lumen preference, typical ride length in time) would also be helpful!

It should be this visor with this accessory package. There is definitely a gopro mount in there, but it's not built directly into the visor.

The picture of the visor on the Kali site has the Gopro adapter but is so dark I couldn't see any details of how it mounted so Thanks! Looking at the accessory kit it looks like the mounts clip to the visor but I don't see any vent holes they could attach to, are there ridges on the visor they clip to?

The pictures on the Kali website are atrocious. Here are a couple snaps from my garage. The visor has that little rail on it, and the mounts slide on, like you said.

Lyzne Microdrive for about 125$ 1000 lumen lasts forever. A lightweight light is important when it's that far forward anything else is hurt my neck after 2 hours.
