Trondheim Freeride Klubb managed to talk the city into donating some land and supporting them with tools and machinery, flew in a course designer from the UK, and before you know it - the city has a small, but growing DJ community.

I went up there Saturday to shoot some photos from a low key competition event, announced as a DJ Jam, whatever that is. Whereas the kids aren't at the level you see in the movies just yet - it was fun to watch.

For me who has never had my wheels more than 3' off the ground, it was inspiring to watch yet depressing realizing that I am probably too old to learn those skills. Even if I am not, it's not compatible with supporting a family, and it is probably not in that direction I want improve as a rider anyway.

So when are your munchkins going to start scaring their parents on the jumps?
