There are several ads in the mtbr classified for new Specialized and other brands. Prices are good ...not too good to be true.

I noticed these appear every so often. Anyone had any experience with these folks?

I looked at the post. Since Specialized are only sold at authorized retailers, and they do not allow retailers to ship, I'd be willing to bet that it isn't legit. Otherwise their days of being an authorized retailer are numbered. When looking at something being sold online, if you need to ask if it is legit, it's probably not legit.

I just bought a 2015 Enduro new in box from a dealer in CA on Pink Bike classifieds. I'm in NY, and he didn't have any issue. It's a sweet ride...

Your pinkbike dealer buy for a 2015 (when 2016 are out) is completely different than the mtbr scam ads the OP asked about....5 months ago.
