thanks guys.

slide - I got your note about borders - but I don't use photoshop, only google picassa. Is there any functionality in picassa or microsoft picture manager?

Devil Mountain! rode from walnut creek to clayton, up the hill, back down and back home again.

42 miles!
Yup - That is Mount Diablo. Correct me if I'm wrong - you guys climbed 3500 ft in about 6 miles (unless you went to the summit first which would be 3800 ft and about 8 miles). The route is: up mitchell canyon to deer flat (picnic table). Then up to widowmaker to Juniper camp grounds. Hit the road up to Devils Elbow... Great pics and Great route. Did you guys clear all of Devils Elbow? I can never make the 2nd left switchback.

Yep - we rode from Steve's house to the top, then down devils elbow, meridian, etc.

I ended up with 5,001' climbing - but I got in an extra 20 miles along the way.

That's the route, summit first. Did the ride Sunday. Trails were in great shape, and a little bit of rain today means they should stay that way until I have time to rid them again.
Nice Ebrider! We all love to get first tracks on Mt. D and will do what it takes... You and I still have to night ride but my bike is out of commission for the next couple of weeks. Lake Sonoma killed my drivetrain!
And everyone elses

Yep - 120 in the front. I inverted the stem since the pic - it climbs much better this way.
Did you happen to GPS the ride? Would love to do a 42 miler.

I did gps it - but I haven't synced yet.

You have to remember I started in Walnut Creek - I rode Ygnacio Vly Road out to Clayton, then we hit the dirt from there.

If you want long miles though, we've done 40 mile off road rides starting from Shell Ridge, in Walnut Creek - to summit - down Meridian - up Mitchell Canyon - down Wall Point and back.

This nets you about 45-50 miles and 10,000' climbing.

Let's do that soon.
