Get the 9mm open qr. To use the 15mm thru axle you'll need a 15mm thru axle hub. The hub currently on your Unit is 9mm qr and I'm not sure if Formula has conversion end caps for 15mm compatibility. Pretty sure they don't.

The Rockshox Reba XX 100mm 29" Fork '11 looks like it would also fit.

Reba XX Motion Control damping with external Floodgate, low-speed compression and beginning stroke rebound adjustments | XLoc hydraulic remote lockout is designed to work with Matchmaker X and Avid Disc Brake Levers (XX, X0, CR Mag) | Dual Flow rebound damping allows separate return speeds for large and small impacts | Forged, Hollow AL-66 TV Crown. 32mm 7000 series aluminum upper tubes | Magnesium lower legs | Power Bulge reinforces the lower bushing for increased stiffness and durability | 29er Quick release forks are adjustable to 80mm by installing the included All-Travel spacer | All control knobs are machined aluminum and feature detents | Standard post-mount disc brake mounts accept 6" rotors without adapters; larger rotors accepted with correct adapters | Shock pump included | Intended application: XC and Trail

Fork Travel: 100 mm
Spring: Air
Brake Type: Disc
Lockout: Handlebar Remote
Front Axle Type: 9x1
Front Hub Spacing: 100 mm

Wheel Size: 29er/700c
Wheel Mount Center Offset: 0 mm
Steerer Tube: 1-1/8" Threadless
Steerer Tube Length: 265.0 mm
Crown Race: 30.0
Weight: 3.7 lbs

I assume they are both good suspension forks, but I don't really know which would be better for light singletrack and dirt roads.
