What is the SCB warranty deal for the older Bullit frames and DC forks ?

Is it something like 5"-6" limit for DC on the 99-01 frames ?

I have a 99 w/ a Jr T and it shows no signs of breaking.

I just want to make sure I'm not going to tear the headtube off mid-landing....

Always thought it was overkill.

Yeah, I have a '99 that has had several forks on it, one of them an '02 Super T. I think SC just wanted to hedge their bets against a worst case scenario. Heck, many have put Monster Ts on these older Bullits with no unusual problems. I've used a 7" travel rear shock a great deal on this '99 with no ill effects to the frame or swingarm.

CraigH may have posted this on the old archives. (are they gone now?) you might PM him for the info. I *think" the max fork was 175mm up until 2002 (which is why i got an 02 monster t). it may have gone up to 190 or 200mm for 2003. can't recall exactly.

here's the info for 2004:

The warranty on a '99 frame is long over, as back then it was only 1 year. (It is now 2.)

Pre 02 frames had a max. fork travel of 6"
02 and later are 7" travel.

The crash replacement program is still available for the older frames.

Thanks

6" & under got it.

SCB is pretty cool w/ the crash replacement of older frames. I'm getting my 01 upgraded to an 04. This after the rear tri bent and damaged the pivot too. Pretty cool.
