Hi all,

I have just purchased a 951 in medium and i have been riding it for around 4 weeks now and i seam to think I've purchased the wrong size.

Im 5' 8" and so i fall within the sizing on the Intense web site but i find the bike very long in the top tube compared to some other bike i have owned and tested.

I'm finding the bike hard to handle when jumping and dropping but it seams fine in all other situations.

Trek use a measurement called frame reach which is measured from the head tube horizontally back to the centre of the BB, this measurement on my intense seams very long compared to my friend Giant which i can ride with ease.

Could people please give there advice and state their height and frame size please.

Thanks

I'm 5'11" and have a medium, fits like a glove.

what length stem you running ? maybe a shorter length could be beneficial, eg a raceface atlas in the 30mm setting. BTW I've got my stem set at 50mm.

Slide the seat rails forward a little, assuming it won't mess up your body position too much ? The bonus may be a more aggressive overall position.
