Despite the hilly/rocky terrain at Rocky Gap I bet there will still be a good amount of mud due to the 5 inches of rain they got this week.
If you are asking about the venue in general it is a 9 mile loop with a good deal flat twisty trails(this is where I suspect mud), a couple of decent climbs and one really rocky downhill and a ton of grass on the Hotel side of the Lake.
Its a good mix of stuff, some challenging but alot of it real easy so you can keep going all day. Probably need to stop and address your drive train every few laps this year though.
was a good race...i only did the 3 hour race and the course was getting very sloppy at the top of the hill..i suspect by the end of the day it was horrible...i surprised myself, it was my first race and got 3rd in my class
