im currently running a 888rc on my demo 9 but its a few years old and was debating maybe getting a fox40rc(2007) either at the end of this season or next but i keep hearing alot of negative feedback about them as well as the positive...... a few of my buds have the 40s and think they are great other than the bottom out issue(which is solved in the 07 model)...I love my 888s but they have had their time......its just time for a new fork.........any input from anyone that have owned the 2 and can compare them would be great ????
cheers

what you do with the 06 fox 40 is buy the go-ride dual spring kit(it might be cheaper than an 07), and apprently that is suppose to help out with the bottoming out of the fork etc. i personally think thats a really cool idea there. but hey if the 07's are fixed from the bottoming out issue that your speakign of u dont even need the go-ride kit.
or u could wait for the 07 888's to come out just cuase there super sexy:thumbsup:
if you wait for 07 both the 40 and the 888 will be sick as ever. probably similar in weight and everything. hard to say....if it were between 06 models go with the 40.
