Hi all, I'm going to be buying a new bike in a few weeks here and saved up a 750 dollar fund. I know people are going to say save up more and buy better but in all honesty, wife's having a baby in 8 months and I can bet on not wanting to upgrade down the road being I won't be on super hardcore trails here in phx.

With that in mind, I'm able to get a new 2014 DB overdrive sport Comp for $740(usually $1000). With your opinions, is that my best bang for buck for under 750? Can't really find anything else spec'd out the same for that price.

Thanks for input

Other than used with higher end specs, that's not a bad spec for a new bike. If it fits you, you like the bike and the support from wherever you are buying it, I'd say it's a good first mountain bike. At least it doesn't have a cheese SR Suntour fork.
