If I have normal 29er MTB wheels, can I still put my road wheels - 700x32c clinchers - on it? I ask because I want to get some new wheels that I can later use on MTB but want to use them on my commuter now, whose 700c wheels are shot.

Thanks

Yes. 29er = 700C. Same bead seat diameter (622mm). There may be an issue with rear hub width though. Road is 130mm, mtb is 135.
