So I ordered up a wheelset from CRC (Crapping on the american economy I know) over 7 weeks ago. I sent an email asking what the hold up was and they told me they were backordered with the 12x135mm rear hub.. I sent that over 3 weeks ago and just recently sent them another seeing what the deal was and now their not answering me back... Soooo yeah.

You are patient. I have placed many orders with CR. Some friends and I placed a large order 5 days ago. We are hoping it will be here next week. They are short one quarter of the product (Shimano stuff) and stated it will be shipped when they have it. They sound busy. 7 weeks is a long time though.

So I think by this point, (as I'm still waiting) I could have bought the rear hope hub, swam across the atlantic and delivered it, AND swimming back with the wheelset and other items in the order on my back and been back at least a week ago now..

If it wasn't in stock when you bought it, then you are definitely playing the waiting game. CRC is at the mercy of their suppliers and the order of people who ordered the same product in front of you. Everything they have that is in stock ships really fast. If you would prefer, there are many e-retailers that will happily refuse to allow you to order an out of stock item precisely to avoid this problem.

If it's a Stan's rim wheelset it appears no-one in the Uk has been able to get hold of any for a month or so.
I had an order canceled by CRC because they couldn't get stock of what I needed.

http://www.justridingalong.com/ built me up a wheelset no problems. Seems they are the only shop *over there* that actually has stuff in stock.
