I just purchased a new 07 66 ETA and the ETA would not hold the fork down when turned on. Marz fixed that for me, but now there is another problem. When in the lower travel adjustment, the fork is rock hard! There is absolutely no travel. Any ideas why that could be? Someone also told me that even with the rebound turned up all the way, it seemed to springy, and said it may need more oil also.

Mine is an '06 model, and was shipped with literally no oil in it. The oil level should defiitely be checked, if you haven't already. The preload set-up will effect how the fork feels with the ETA locked, make sure your sag is correct. However, even with mine set up correctish, the fork is darn near ridgid with it locked down. I also have a Z1 with ETA and it acts about the same.
