There is a set of 5.1 in the classifieds that have been there for a month now at $75.

Yeah, I replaced my 06 5 spot with the 5.5 rockers and love it. I don't see any need for the 5.3's.

I'm still on my 5.3's - I guess ignorance is bliss, but having a real problem justifying the cost to increase travel 0.2" to 5.5.

Am I missing something other than the coolness factor?

Coolness factor for sure, but to me they ride better. They feel softer at the top of travel, which is great for small bump compliance and they ramp up at the end of travel a little bit better. It does feel like slightly more travel somehow, although on paper it's not much.
