Big ring is starting to look a little sharkfinned. I want to put a 46t chainring on my XT crankset which is on my Optimo frameset.

Think I will run into any headaches doing this? Figure I will have to scooch up the front der. a little and add a couple links of chain?

is there an XT 46t?

If so, besides having to move the der, you may run in to shifting issues because of the additional jump from the 34T middle ring. It should work, how well is the question.
