I've the Easton Ec90 Seatpost: is it so hard to put in the seattube? Or may be it needs a 30,9 seatpost?

Is there any paint inside the seat tube? Its still 31.6 in 05. If it was 30.9 a 31.6 post wouldn't even begin to insert.

It's a 31.6mm. You won't be the first to receive an Intense with a slightly unfinished seattube. My Uzzi had the same problem and I have read where others here have recieved their bikes without the seattube being reamed properly.

Probably not. Part of the problemis most likely the EC70 post. I've had a lot of problems getting these in new bikes of different sizes. Remember to put grease on the inside of the seat tube. A seized EC70 is no fun to remove.
