30 + degrees on the way!

Our forecast is to top the 30 degree mark for the first time in a long time, starting this weekend. I will be taking the Sedona out for some riding and errand running as I am so sick of riding on the trainer!

I am putting my old road bike in the trainer, thus freeing up the Sedona. I will post pics when I get out!

Here is the setup as it sits tonight -

I hear you. It was warm enough to melt some snow today, and even warmer tomorrow and the next day. I know it'll be wet, but I'm thinking of maybe checking out this really rocky spot Sunday and seeing if I can get in a couple of miles.

Go out in the snow, ya bums
We don't have this problem in S Az... just sayin...
Oh, 4 seasons where you live, huh? We are using our A/C to try to keep cool in this 80 degree weather, here in SoCal....sorry....
I'm in Lower Michigan, we have rain, and 40's coming next week, it'll wash this white stuff away, maybe I can get out soon.

In the meanwhile, set your trainer up in front of your big screen, hook your big screen up to your computer and ride to my video clip, LOL!

I'd rather ride my own, yours looks like a freeway compared to our trails, besides I ride my spinning bike for 2 hrs at a time, I ride with the Carmichael Training System Mountain Bike DVD, it translates closer to our up, and downs here, and I get to ride with the Trek Team, getting a hell of a workout. Thanks for the offer though.. here is one of our trails in Hell, Michigan, thats me working it up, and down almost to the end of a 18+ mile trail, of the almost 30 mile trail system, the Potawami Trail (Poto). Happy Trails
OP- I can sympathize but not empathize..
Here in "one season" Florida this weekend we'll get down to 30 overnight, 50 by 10 am and maybe up to 70 or so by 2. And blue skies. It's tough. :p

Thanks for sharing! If I were to come to Michigan, my priority would be to tap into that fantastic Smallmouth Bass fishery in Lake St. Claire...mountain biking would take a back seat...but it would get done, too nonetheless.

U live in Hell? So, if I told you to go to Hell, it wouldn't be offensive??? LOL! (joking, of course)...I assume that's the oldest joke in the world out your way...
Went to the LBS in Jan to return a $13 part. Walked out with a new 29er on order. Got one short ride in a few weeks ago. Tried yesterday but the damn trail was still covered in ice. Ended up doing 6 miles on the local MUT. Better than sitting around watching NetFlix.
Calling for 60's by Friday. By then it will probably be too muddy for a while.
Boo on 32+ degree weather, that means trails are muck for weeks, Ours were nice and frozen and fast until it warmed up here for a week of rain and refroze, now its just a mess. I wish it would stay around 28 degrees until March and then instantly hit 70.
we're lucky here in lower Michigan, the Potowami Trail mostly dries out quickly, I'm hoping to get out soon, if we don't get more snow.. Happy Trails
Saturday was a chilli ride for me. I think it got to 60. I love Florida.
I moved from Chicago to Denver 4 years ago and have never looked back.......man those midwestern winters are brutal....I don't miss them at all
Love Fla in July and Aug, when we can ride all day long, all in all we probably end up with the same amount of time on the trails.. I've been out plenty in Dec, 2 times in Jan, soon to get out in Feb. and I don't ride in snow, from Mar to Dec its rideable here, and it very seldom gets much over 90 degrees, even then our trails have lakes, and rivers to cool off in. Happy Trails watch out for the aligators..LOL!!
I actually dont mind the summer heat, if I'm riding or running. I hate it for everything else. I can ride easier when its 90+ than when its below 50. My joints dont hurt as much. The alligators are fun to watch.
