Anybody got a line on a frame and/or fork that will clear 2Xl's on 135mm rims? I bought the rims and tires and frame tubing over a year ago and haven't even checked the gas in my torches yet. I saw that they have some local brand in the Philippines that clears a 135 rim. Anything orderable in the USA?

I mean, the point was it hasn't happened yet...
This picture shows a 26x5.05 on 135 on the left, a loose 26x4.8 in the middle, and a loose 26x4.0 right.

What are the exact dims of the 2XL on that rim?

I presume it's tubed? Do you think it's fully stretched -- as big as it's going to get?

I still have at least one -- and maybe two -- 12 x 217mm rear hubs left for projects like this.

Redrilling them to 32h would be no big deal.

Lacing, tensioning, truing = all fine.

Having to fiddle with a ghetto tubeless setup = dealbreaker. Especially going in knowing how likely it'll be to fail or at least burp at snow-low pressures.
Purdy however, like mentioned tubeless nightmare and stem breaks galore at sand n snow pressures if tubes were involved.

Fatties stripper tubeless doesn't look like too big of a deal on these. Spoke hole indexing might be. Guess get an accurate measurement of diameter, two good spoke hole lines and start marking 16 on each every 22.5 deg.
