I'm looking at the Fantom 29Pro SL or not SL (looks like that one is sold out but I'm assuming it might come back). The SL is available in my size but I'm curious of the 2x10 gearing for a weekend warrior. Will the gear range be wide enough for steep climbs but high enough for all day fire road riding? The weight savings between the two is not a huge priority to me since it seems minimal for me to worry about.

I like my 3x10 windsor pro. I never thought i'd need a 30 speed bike. seemed overkill, but when you are climbing hard, that last gear often saves the day for me.
