Before I cut and regret and wanted to check my thought process. Building up my '11 Flux at the moment with XTR 2x10 and want to confirm I set chain length via big gear to big gear and the hanger near full forward travel?

I have read that I could go big to big and simply break where link overlap on front ring, this seems to me like it would work on 3x9 because its a gear you would never use, but not 2x10? Or am I confused, again?

The SRAM manual for 2x10 calls for Big/Big bypassing the derailleurs, full suspension compression, and then at least one full link of overlap.

Works for me just fine.
