I dig Fireman's setup on their new 29er bmx cruiser. Anyone put 2pc bars on their ride? Got pics?

I wouldn't want a handlebar that high but I do think that a heavy bar and stem is a good idea on a bike with a rigid fork.

I wonder if that was a mistake? They kept their same bb height relative-to-axles from the Firemans 26", but then put a taller fork on it, which raised the bb?

Not saying a zero bb drop (or even bb rise) is bad though. It would definitely make the bike handle more like a bmx cruiser and less like a 29'er mtb.

The current website says 13.5" bb.

I was Googling 29er with BMX bars for another discussion thread. The Perfect Bike? - Page 9 - Pinkbike Forum--that's how I came across this old thread. I personally like adding to knowledge on existing threads rated than creating new ones. The OP could have quit riding--I don't care!

i might try this on my Krampus. Get like kids sized bars...7"-8". the Salsa bars on it now are much wider than I am used to having grown up in BMX....

I would think 4" or 5"s max. I think 7" would be too tall.
