finally getting a 29r rig in a few weeks, its a trail bike but i really only trust dh tires, kind of lost on the current casing listing coming from 26r, but anyway are there any dh tires in small 2.3 range for atrail bike to minimize rolling resistent but get that bomb proof durability, not bothered too much by weight?
thanx for any help

Study the Schwalbe website. They have a range of casings in several tires designed for dry to wet to mud in the new "Super Downhill" casing and what was called "downhill" until the 2021 batch. Many are in 2.35 and some can be in "ultra-soft" or soft.

They also redesigned the Big Betty which looks perfect for summer/dry/tacky soils.

Magic Mary and Dirty Dan will be the best for wet loam and mud.
