Getting my first ht to ride more XC. If I am looking for a good 29er grippier than fast(like those new Vitoria tires claim) xc tire for in 29er. I come from a gravel bike that has 27.5x2.8 tires on there Schwalbe G-One rear Rocket Ron in the front. So for xc riding and someone coming from plus would 29x2.5 or 2.6 f+r be better for xc riding in South West between Arizona and Nevada? Going 2.8 front(true to size) with a 2.5 front also crossed my mind.
